Problem free performance of your outdoor warning siren system is the primary goal of our siren installation department. Quality is no accident. We plan and strive for it on each siren, each project, and every customer.
A quality installation begins with planning. Our quality process begins with an in depth analysis of your overall siren system, it’s componenets, and the numerous variables that will inevitably impact the final product.
Installation Process Overview
- Planning
- Pre-Production – During this phase of the project ANS Services’ experienced team of project managers will guide the project team through the process of creating the installation plan, quality assurance plans, and XXXX During the Pre-Production phase a reconnaissnace of the system is performed to identify issues and document findings that will impact the following phases. Most importantly the system reconnaissance must identify issues like traffic control requirements, environmental risks, real estate concerns, and any other risk factor that could effet the safe and/or effiecient fielding of siren system equipment.
- Production – The production phase is where the sirens and poles come together under the tight controls or the quality assurance methods and procedures that were developed during the Pre-Production phase. Accept Zero Defects, Create Zero Defects, and Pass Zero Defects is the mantra of our production personnel. ANS Services utilzes a cellular manufacturing process to control quality and drive towards a Zero Defect production output. Gateways, or stage checks, exist between production cells to ensure the quality of preceeding work and to garauntee the unit is prepared to enter the next production cell.
- Fielding – When fielding begins is really where you will begin to see the bennefit of the system reconnaissance, planning, and quality assurance. Knowing when and where traffic control is required, the location of utilities both overhead and underground, and having the right equipment onsite will all lead to a successful installation. The Fielding phase often overlaps the Production and Start-Up/Commissioning phases. Fielding activites carry with them the highest risk to ANS Services’, our clients, and the general public.
